The limited nightlife, but it wasn't a problem for me as I preferred the quiet evenings within the fort.

The bedrooms at Fortaleza Landesi were absolutely luxurious! The en suite bathrooms were so convenient, and the showers had great water pressure. I loved the fully stocked mini bar in each room - it was like having my own personal refreshment station! As someone who loves staying in air-conditioned rooms, I was thrilled to find that all the guestrooms had air conditioning. The free WiFi was a nice bonus, allowing me to stay connected with my friends and share all the amazing photos I took during our stay. Plus, having free bottled water was a thoughtful touch.

I personally found the seating area in the villa to be a bit small for my liking. However, I can totally see how others might find it cozy and intimate.

This colonial mansion is in a prime location within the historical fort of the city. It is close to the central part of the fort, with numerous dining options, yet situated on a quiet street with other impressive properties. the rooms are tastefully decorated in an elegant colonial style, with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. the staff provide excellent service and the breakfast spread is fantastic. It also has a lovely sitting area adorned with art and period furniture.

One aspect to note is the poor Wi-Fi connectivity that only allows one device to be connected at a time.

I had the most lovely stay in this hotel! The location was perfect, nestled right in the heart of the fort, which made it easy for me to explore the city on foot. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities and the cleanliness of the entire place. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and they made sure I had everything I needed. Additionally, the breakfast spread was fantastic with a great selection of Sri Lankan and continental dishes.

Nothing not to love. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to visit again!

My room was spacious, beautifully decorated and offered complete privacy. Breakfast was a delectable gourmet experience, and the private facilities added an indulgent touch to my stay. the location was central yet secluded, providing a peaceful oasis.

The wifi could be improved as it had a weak signal at times. this minor issue did not detract from the overall experience.
